EMDR Intensives in Riverside, CA | In Person and Online Across California
Heal what weekly therapy hasn't reached, in days instead of months.
You can give your healing a few concentrated hours, or a few days, instead of fifty minutes at a time. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I offer intensives for adults carrying trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Each intensive is shaped around you, with preparation beforehand and support afterward.
What is an EMDR Intensive?
Longer sessions, so you can go deeper
An intensive is a block of extended sessions, 3 to 5 hours at a time over 1 to 3 days, set aside for the work that matters most to you. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a well-researched trauma therapy that helps your brain process painful memories so they stop feeling like they're happening now.
We move at whatever pace feels safe for your nervous system, with breaks, grounding, and room to rest.
Maybe you already understand your story.
You can name your patterns. You've done the work of talking it through. And still the old weight shows up in your body, your relationships, your sleep.
Weekly sessions work well for many people. For others, fifty minutes means the hour ends just as you get close to something tender, and you carry it alone until next week.
An intensive gives that work room to unfold.
Ways to work together
Every option includes a preparation conversation beforehand and a follow-up afterward.
Half-day intensive
About 3 hours. Online or in person. Works well for one specific focus.
Full-day intensive
About 6 hours, with a midday break for lunch. Remote only.
Multi-day intensive
[2 to 3 days]. Suits deeper or more layered work.
You don't have to keep waiting for the right-sized hour.
When you're ready, let's talk about whether an intensive fits.
